Steps to Download the Matrix Arrow EA MT5© Demo Version and Test It Using the MT5 Strategy Tester 

Remember to also download the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT5© demo version to run tests for the Matrix Arrow EA MT5©. Below, you’ll find a video tutorial for testing the Matrix Arrow EA MT5©, followed by step-by-step instructions. 

1. Go to the Market tab in your MT5 terminal (1). In the search bar, type: matrix arrow (2), and you’ll see the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT5© and Matrix Arrow EA MT5© in the results. Click on the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT5© (3) to access its product page. 

2. Press the Download Demo button (4) for the Matrix Arrow Indicator MT5© to save the demo version in your Market Indicators folder. 

3. Navigate back by pressing the small grey arrow in the upper left corner of the Market tab window, then select the Matrix Arrow EA MT5© this time (5). 

4. Click on the Download Demo button (6) for the Matrix Arrow EA MT5© to save the demo version of the EA in your Market Experts folder. 

5. Navigate to MT5 >> View >> Strategy Tester in your terminal and choose the Matrix Arrow EA MT5© from your Market folder to start testing it (7). 

6. Choose the instrument you want to test (8), set the timeframe (9), define the testing period (10), and specify the account balance and leverage (11).  

7. On the Inputs tab of the Strategy Tester, right-click the Load option and select the relevant set file (12) from the product description page or at the bottom of this page. 

8. Adjust the trading hours to match your broker’s server time (13), as the provided set files are optimized for ICMarkets Raw Spread GMT+3 accounts. If your broker operates on GMT+3 during summer and GMT+2 during winter, no adjustments are needed. Afterward, click the Start button in the Strategy Tester’s bottom right corner to begin your test (14). 

You can confirm your broker’s server time in the Marketwatch window. If your broker’s server time differs from GMT+3 (summer) or GMT+2 (winter), adjust all the trading hours accordingly. For example, if your broker’s time is GMT+0, shift all the trading hours back by 3 hours, as shown below: 

Start Hour: 12

Start Minutes: 00

End Hour: 22

End Minutes: 50

you need to change it to:

Start Hour: 9

Start Minutes: 00

End Hour: 19

End Minutes: 50
